Tomb of Shah Rukne Alam Multan

The great sufi saint Sheikh Rukn-Ud-Din Abul Fateh (1251-1335) is commonly known as Shah Rukn-e-Alam. He was burried in the mausoleum of his grandfather heikh bahauddin Zakariya on his will, After sometime was transferred to present tomb.This pre-Moughul architectural masterpiece (built between 1320 and 1324) is said to be built by emperor Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq for himself, but was given by his son Muhammad Bin Tughlaq for the burrial of Shah Rukn-e-Alam
